Consulting and Education Services

Consulting Services:

I often get requests like this:

“I already have a therapist I’ve been working with for years, but I would like to do some specific workaround exploring my sexual story. Can you be my sex therapist?”

Seeing multiple therapists is like too many cooks in the kitchen! But there are different ways of addressing the needs that you have!

One of the other services I provide in addition to my traditional therapy services is sexual health consulting. This is an opportunity where you don’t need a therapist but would like to explore further your sexual health and your sexual story!

The places you want to address are yours to bring, yet could include: the systems (i.e., patriarchal, religious) that have shaped how you see yourself as a sexual person or around how to be more pleasure-ready, or about how to have a greater connection with yourself or a partner.

In these 50-minute sessions, I will coach you toward bringing more integration around your sexual story and building momentum for you to have a greater understanding of your sexual self!

This is different than therapy due to the ethical criteria with my mental health licenses. I will not be considered your therapist, nor will I offer diagnosis or insurance for these services.

Requirements:

  1. Sometimes, what comes up can be uncomfortable or emotionally disruptive. It is vital that you have the support of a therapist or trusted friends and community that can support you in what may arise.
  2. You have already done some foundational work to understand yourself emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally.
  3. We schedule a free 20-minute phone call before our session. This allows us both to assess if what you need and this particular offering are a good match!

Educational Services (Speaking and Teaching):

I have had opportunities to guest-teach for workshops that others are leading or to lead workshops that I have personally created.

These educational experiences are a profound way to: debunk sex ed myths, validate your experience through participant sharing, and learn to talk about what you always felt were taboo or silenced.

Knowledge is power. Personally and professionally, experience and education that are relevant with accurate sexual health information infuse the voids of silence, shame, and isolation!

If you are interested in me being a part of a workshop or course you are leading as a guest educator, let’s discuss further!

Topics I can address:  female sexuality and pleasure, religious sexual shame and the impact of shame in general on sexuality, and how parents can connect with their children around topics relating to sexual health!

Requirements:

  1. You offer a sex-positive, pleasure vs. fear-oriented event, workshop, course.
  2. Our agreement terms for what you need and what I offer are clear and in writing.
